David Paisley
David Paisley is the Senior Projects Director with Community Marketing, Inc. (CMI). He has been with CMI for over 18 years. David coordinates the company’s client projects, annual conferences and symposia, publications and marketing management programs, and facilitates focus groups for the company’s clients. In the past few years he has facilitated over 100 gay and lesbian-specific focus group initiatives for clients such as Wells Fargo Bank, Absolut Vodka, Palm Springs Bureau of Tourism, the Chicago History Museum, the United States Census Bureau, U.S. Housing and Urban Development (HUD), and many others. He is widely quoted in the media on LGBT marketing and research.
Mr. Paisley is also deeply involved in the LGBT community, as well as mental health services in San Francisco. Over the past 20 years, he has served on boards of organizations such as the Boston Alliance of Gay & Lesbian Youth and founded services such as the National AIDS/HIV Nightline. He also is a lead instructor developing youth suicide prevention curriculum for San Francisco schools and youth service agencies, and leads a crisis team responding after a youth suicide in a school. David earned his B.A. in Social Welfare/Fine Arts from Albright College, Reading, PA.
